Backend Developer - API & Dev Experience in Barcelona

What You Will Be Doing

You will own our overall developer platform, which is the most important part of our company. You will design and architect our entire API pipeline and develop crazy efficient, super easy to use APIs. While building our developer platform you will have to solve a number of tough problems ranging from efficiently distributing computation across multiple clusters, to develop completely new algorithms that can improve our AI understanding of the world. If you think you can thrive in a hands on, unstructured, highly fast paced environment and are comfortable with dealing with really ambiguous and hard computer science problems, join us.

What You Need for this Position

• 5+ years of experience in architecting, designing and implementing large scale/cloud/SAAS systems
• Experience in building developer-facing components and APIs
• Strong Java/Python coding skills
• Master of science in in Computer Since or comparable preferred
• Experience with Machine Learning, NLP, Semantic Analysis a big plus

Location

Our head quarter is in Barcelona (Spain), but we do have people working for us from London (UK) and Leipzig (Germany) as well. While it would be great to have you join us in an office in one of these locations, we are used to working with people remotely spread out across the globe.
