Job Description

Design and implement algorithms and predictive models to drive Privalia's growth.


- Relevance & Personalization

- AB testing

- Modeling

- Pricing

- Product Categorization

- Product Recommendation

- Fraud detection

- Tracking

- Other prediction models to consumer behaviour


Proficiency with at least one lenguage for data analysis, such as Python or R.

Experience with DBs and working with large datasets, e.g. in MongoDB, SQL.

Knowledge of machine learning and stadistical algorithms.

Expertise in predictive modeling using both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.

Strong ability to communicate modeling procedures and results to non-experts.


+ 3 years experience with proven track record using advanced data analysis to drive significant business impact.

Experience performing these activities in at least one of the following industries: e-commerce, digital media, gaming, online classifieds, video streaming.


High command in English

Experience in international environment

Experience in managing data scientist teams / Top management experience

Strong analytical skills an results oriented

Strong ability to communicate modeling procedures and results to non-experts
