Experienced Software Engineer in Barcelona

YUGO is looking for an experienced back-end software developer for analysis, conception, development and test of innovative IT projects. The successful candidate will be working hand in hand with the CPO (Chief Product Officer), the engineering team and the designer in the strategic creation of varying software solutions.

Requirements

+3 years of experience in software engineering,
BS or Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering,
Excellent knowledge of NodeJS, security, server technologies and database infrastructure (MySQL),
Experience with Laravel Framework or PHP, would be a plus,
Experience with websocket, and especially Socket.io,
Knowledge and experience with web-based development,
Experience with Jquery, Web API, Restful services,
Ability to manage and prioritize many tasks at the same time.
Willingness to learn quick and have a proactive approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

Be a team player,
Execute full lifecycle software development,
Balance code review with quick iteration while caring about the overall code infrastructure,
Develop working prototype quickly (from an implementation idea to working product),
Proactively refactor the codebase to keep high quality,
Have fun while working hard,
